Mums' Mix Tape

Think of three songs that mean something to you - maybe they capture a special memory for you, or the words contain a message you'd like to pass on, or they just make you want to get up and shake your booty? For whatever reason, they're songs you would like to pass on to your kids.

Ask your son or daughter to do the same - what songs would they like to share with you? Play your song choices to each other and then share them with us too. (If your children are too young, you can leave it blank until they develop their own terrifying taste in music...)

When you list the songs here, add a sentence explaining why you chose each one.

You can also link each track to a You Tube video so anyone looking at your mix tape can listen to them. Just do a quick online search for the artist, song name, and 'you tube', locate the right track, then cut and paste the web address from the top of your browser into the form when you enter your song choices.
